Application Process

How To Apply

I. Informational Visit
Although not required before submitting an application, it is encouraged that all prospective families schedule an informational tour of campus to learn more about the Academy and its programs. Please contact the Admissions Office if you require additional information or would like to schedule a tour.

II. Application
Applications to the Academy for the subsequent school year are accepted online throughout the year. The first consideration deadline for Transition through 12th grade is September 1 of the preceding school year. To begin the application process, create an account here.

III. Applicant Visit
The Admissions Office will contact the parents of applicants for grades Transition through 12th to visit during the winter or spring prior to enrollment. During the visit, the student and parents will tour the areas of campus the applicant would go during a typical week of school, finalize enrollment paperwork, and schedule admissions testing.
*Visit may be waived if the applicant accompanied the parent on a previous visit to the Academy.

IV. Optional Shadowing Day
Applicants for grades 3-12 are invited to spend part of a day or a full day accompanying a class/student. Please request this visit in advance through the Admissions Office.

V. Admissions Testing
Each applicant will be tested prior to an offer of enrollment. The applicant’s readiness for the Academy’s program is assessed using appropriate screening tools.

VI. Enrollment
An offer of enrollment will be made upon successful completion of the screening process. An online enrollment packet, including the tuition agreement, will be emailed shortly after enrollment is offered. In cases where no openings are available but the student meets the admissions criteria, the option of placement on a waiting list is offered. Preference for admission is given to siblings and children of alumni.
