Welcome! Thank you for your interest in Arendell Parrott Academy. We encourage every prospective family to learn as much as possible about the Academy. Once you know all about us, we are confident you will choose the academic excellence and supportive environment we have created for over half a century.
Located on a beautiful 80-acre campus in Kinston, Parrott Academy is the oldest and largest independent, coeducational college preparatory school in Eastern North Carolina. With over 650 students from more than ten counties, Parrott Academy is large enough to offer extensive extracurricular opportunities in athletics, arts and community service, but small enough for every student to find his or her place.
Parents, students and faculty alike appreciate the Academy's family atmosphere. Teachers interact with their students as individuals, and classmates build friendships that last a lifetime. A school wide honor code governs both the social and academic conduct of students, helping to foster the formation of good character and civic responsibility.
