Arendell Parrott Academy will implement the following COVID-19 policy for students and staff beginning Monday, August 22, 2022. Please refer to this page for periodic updates.
Masks:
- APA will be mask-optional for Transition - 12th grade students, faculty and staff regardless of vaccination status.
- Masks will be optional for volunteers and visitors while on campus; this includes assemblies and sporting events.
Positive Cases:
- If an individual tests positive for COVID-19, please contact your family physician for medical assistance and guidance.
- Contact Health Services and email your results to [email protected].
- Remain home for 5 days.
- Notify Sherry Tanner at Health Services [email protected] for the safe return to school date.
- Contact your child’s teacher for class assignments.
Exposures:
Staff members and/or students who have had a known exposure to an individual with COVID-19 should contact Health Services for guidance regarding safe school attendance.
Symptoms:
If staff or students present with any one of the following symptoms, please stay home and consult your physician:
- Fever greater than 100.4° F
- Sudden sore throat
- Cough (different from baseline if child has a chronic cough from allergies and/or asthma)
- New loss of taste or smell
- Diarrhea or vomiting
