Working on your SERV hours?
SERV runs on a calendar year, Jan.1-Dec.31,
so you have until Dec. 31 of 2012 to earn hours for next year.
Start early! You may turn in documentation to Mrs.Moye
at any timeand she will file and save it for you.
Remember that it only takes 12 hours to be inducted into SERV.
Make sure you READ the guidelines and FAQs below, and ASK if you need help.
Set a new goal: 100+ hours = Presidential Service Scholar
It is the student's responsibility to confirm
that documentation is on file with Mrs. Moye by the deadline date.
Most students find it helpful to review their SERV hours before the Christmas holidays OR
keep all of their documentation for the whole year in one file and then turn it all in at once.
It is fine to turn in hours as you go along, or wait until the end - whatever works best for you.

are available below.
Remember that students earning over 100 hours in a calendar year are recognized as Presidential Service Scholars at our end-of-year awards ceremonies.
Seniors with over 100 hours are also eligible
to apply for one of our two annual service scholarships.
Each January, Mrs. Moye enters all service hours into individual service records. Each student will then sign to verify that his record is accurate, and invitations to join SERV will be extended.
SERV induction will be held in early March.
The 2012 team project will be in Ecuador! Twenty students and six chaperones will be in Otavalo and Quito over the Winter Break.
